I was initially ecstatic to become a patient here, but I have since lost all trust in how this practice operates. The way patients are handled feels incredibly rushed and transactional. I have been putting my maximum effort into improving my dental health after battling severe mental health challenges for over a decade. Rather than receiving empathetic and supportive care, I was repeatedly met with dismissive and judgmental comments about my routine(outside of two techs), making it clear that my personal context and efforts were completely ignored. Furthermore, the preemptive work they highly suggested was executed with incredibly poor communication and poor explanations. I was heavily pressured into capping two teeth without root canals. Nobody thoroughly explained the long-term repercussions of this procedure, and as a result, I am now left dealing with daily pain simply from drinking a glass of water. There is a glaring lack of attention to detail regarding patient comfort, as I have also been left dealing with unaddressed canine tooth interference whenever my Invisalign trays are off. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Arrick and her team this morning. I had a dental emergency, and not only did they fit me in quickly, but everyone in the office did so with a smile. The front desk staff, dental assistants, and doctor were all happy to be there, which made me, in turn, happy to be there. So much so, that I'll definitely be going back for all my dental care.

Dr. Arrick and her team have provided the best dental experience I've had since moving to North Carolina. The office is welcoming, the staff is friendly and professional, and the level of care is outstanding. They take the time to make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. I switched to Glenwood Smiles because of my husband and so glad I did. I suspect but can't confirm my old dentist was committing some sort of insurance fraud. I have never had any of those issues with Dr. Arrick and her team. I recommend to everyone. Yolanda leaves my teeth feeling clean! I really appreciate how Dr. Arrick doesn't JUST worry about my teeth but my overall wellness and how my dental health ties into it. They are just great, reception is friendly and parking is easy peasy!

Smiles at Glenwood has the best atmosphere. I needed a lot of dental work completed so I was in the office for several hours. Dr. Candice Arrick and the staff are the ultimate professionals. Everyone does excellent work and they are cordial. Dr. Arrick offers multiple payment plans for anyone who does not have dental insurance. I highly recommend Smiles at Glenwood for all of your dental needs.
